AC Blower Motor Resistor is used on blower drive for automotive air conditioner. It changes the duty cycle of the PWM wave that drives the fan according to the size of resistance signal from the air conditioner controller, thereby adjusting the fan speed.
If you cannot adjust the air speed properly with your AC control or no reaction from your air conditioner system, maybe you need a new Blower Motor Resistor. AC Blower Motor Resistor is mounted on lower passenger side dash ( beside the Blower Motor) and is easily assembly by simple tools.
Fits the Following Vehicles: For J-eep Grand Cherokee (1999-2001); WJ (US) model w/ auto temperature control. For J-eep Grand Cherokee (2001); WG (Europe) model w/ auto temperature control. For J-eep Grand Cherokee (2001-2002); WG (Europe) model w/ left hand drive & w/ manual temperature control. For J-eep Grand Cherokee (2003); WG (Europe) model w/ left hand drive & dual-zone manual temperature control.
Customers can find the product you need accurately according to the OE number. OE part number: RU358, RU-358, 5012699AA, 05012699AA.
Most cars with an HVAC system use blower motor resistors to control the speed of the fan. If the resistor becomes corroded, the lower speed settings may stop working or the fan will not work at all. Replace your J-eep's resistors with Surwit OE quality parts.
